Keshav Senior Secondary School

We are located out on the Kota-Baran Road in the Simlia area. It is a bit of a drive from the main city of Kota, but that is just how it is here in the Teh-Digod region. Keshav Senior Secondary School has been around for a while now, sitting right where the road gets busy with trucks and local traffic. The school building is pretty standard, with the usual classrooms and a yard where the students spend their breaks. Every morning, you can see the kids arriving from nearby villages, some walking and others coming on the bus. It gets quite dusty around here during the summer months, but we try to keep the place tidy for everyone. The staff mostly comes from the local area too, so everyone knows each other fairly well. There is no fancy stuff here, just the basic classrooms, some desks that have seen better days, and the sound of lessons going on throughout the day. We have the senior secondary classes which means the older kids are around until the late afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to let the air in. It is a simple life here in Simlia. Most people in the village know where we are because we are one of the main landmarks on this stretch of the road. We just go about our business every day, teaching the kids what they need to know and making sure the school stays open for the next generation.
