Shine Star Public School

Shine Star Public School is located in the Ummed Sagar area of Kota, Rajasthan. Kota is famous for schools and coaching, but we are just a local spot for the families living near the lake. The area is a bit quieter than the main coaching hubs, which is nice for the students. The school building is a modest one, nothing like the giant glass buildings you see in other parts of the city. We have a simple gate and a small area for the kids to gather. Inside, the hallways are usually decorated with student drawings that have been taped up over the years. We don't have a big budget for fancy equipment, so we make the most of what we have. The teachers here are mostly people who have grown up in Rajasthan and understand the local way of life. We deal with the extreme heat in the summer and the cold mornings in the winter just like everyone else. Our days are filled with the sound of reciting lessons and the occasional ball hitting a wall during recess. It’s not a flashy place, but it’s steady. We focus on the basics and try to make sure every child gets some attention. People in Ummed Sagar know us as the local school where their kids can go without any big fuss. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day at Shine Star Public School.
