Our shop is at P-7 in the Bhamashah Mandi area of Kota. If you know this part of Rajasthan, you know the Mandi is always buzzing with trucks and people from early morning. It’s a loud, dusty place, and that’s where we do our daily work. We handle food products and spend most of our time checking bags or talking to the drivers. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a room with some old desks, a few chairs, and a lot of paperwork. In the summer, the Kota heat is really something, so we keep the fans going and drink a lot of tea. We don’t have a marketing team or a big corporate office. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things moving. People stop by to talk about the latest prices or just to see what’s coming in. We don't use big words or have any grand plans. We just focus on the day’s work and making sure the transport stays on schedule. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out, but we just manage. You see the same faces every day here, which is nice. It’s an honest way to make a living in the middle of the grain market. If you’re ever walking through Shop No P-7, you’ll likely find us buried in some ledgers or on the phone. That is pretty much our life here.
