Pankaj Agencies is located right near the Gumanpura Road Sabzi Mandi. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the mornings when the trucks are unloading everything. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The noise from the vegetable market is something you just get used to after a week. It’s loud, it’s chaotic, but there’s a lot of energy around here. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. We have stacks of boxes everywhere and the floor is a bit uneven in the back. Sometimes I think about painting the walls a new color, but then we get a delivery and I forget all about it. We’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. My nephew helps me with the lifting because my back isn't what it used to be. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. Customers come in looking for specific things and we usually know right where they are, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. Gumanpura Road is always moving and changing. We don't have a website or a fancy sign with lights. Most people just know us by word of mouth from their parents or neighbors. It's a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the day's work.
