Sri Laxmi Agro Sales

Sri Laxmi Agro Sales is located right in the heart of the New Dhan Mandi in Kota. If you know the Mandi, you know it’s a hectic place, especially during the harvest season. We deal with agricultural supplies, so we see a lot of farmers and people who spend their lives working the land. Our shop is usually filled with the smell of seeds and fertilizers, which is something you get used to after a few days. There are heavy sacks piled up near the entrance and we spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks. It’s a physical job and our clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We talk a lot about the weather and how the crops are doing because that’s what really matters to our customers. When the rains are late, everyone is worried, and we feel that too. We aren't corporate people; we are just here to provide the supplies that keep the local farms going. Sometimes the Mandi gets so crowded with carts and tractors that you can barely move through the lanes. We've been part of this market for many years and we’ve seen it grow and change. It’s a tough business sometimes, depending so much on the seasons and the soil, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the right supplies to the people who need them at the right time. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk and some ledgers.
