Field Marsal

Field Marsal is located out on the Kota Kundanpur Road in the Sangod area. It’s a place that deals with mechanical things and parts for people who work the land or drive heavy vehicles. The shop itself is more like a workshop or a sturdy shed than a regular store. We have iron parts, tools, and greasy equipment sitting on the floor and on the heavy workbenches. It’s often quite dusty because the road outside has a lot of trucks moving back and forth. We spend our time checking parts or helping people find the right piece of hardware they need to fix a machine. It’s not a place for someone who doesn't like getting their hands dirty. We wear old clothes that are stained with oil and don't really worry about how we look. The heat can be pretty intense in Sangod, so we mostly stay in the shade of the roof. There aren't any fancy chairs, just a couple of old stools for when we take a break. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know our way around the equipment. People stop by because they know we are here on the Kota Kundanpur Road. It’s a quiet life in a way, just focusing on the work at hand and the machines that come through the door.
