Navshil Udyog

The shop is located at Yard A 6 in Ramganj Mandi. It is not a very big space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. We spend most of our hours here dealing with the day-to-day tasks of running a small business. The yard is usually full of noise from other shops and vehicles passing by. We started Navshil Udyog because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to home. There are days when things go smoothly and other days when something breaks or the power goes out, which can be frustrating. We mostly talk to local people who are looking for specific items we keep in stock. It is not the kind of place you see in advertisements. It is just a practical workspace with tools and materials scattered around. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, it gets messy pretty fast. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. We have a small kettle for making tea when neighbors drop by to chat for a few minutes. It is a slow and steady life here in the mandi yard. We don't really have big plans for the future, just hoping to keep the doors open and do our work properly every day. That is pretty much what we are about, just staying busy and providing what the local people need from us in this area.
