You can find us right across from the telephone exchange on Rosli Road in Ramganj Mandi. We are set up at Piyush Vyas’s place. It’s a farmer producer company, but that really just means a group of us from around here decided to work together to manage our crops better. Our office isn't a high-rise or a polished suite. It’s a practical space where we can sit down on a few plastic chairs and look over the registers. Ramganj Mandi is a busy hub for trade, so there’s always something happening on the street outside. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and how the harvest is looking. We don't have a large staff or a professional receptionist. If you come by, you’ll just see a couple of us working through the records or chatting with a farmer who stopped in. It’s a simple operation with no big corporate goals or fancy speeches. We just want to make sure everyone in the group is on the same page and the accounts are right. Sometimes the days are long, especially when the season is peak, and we end up staying late under the tube light. Other days are quiet and we just catch up on the paperwork. It’s a local effort by people who know the land. We like it that way because it’s honest and straightforward. That’s us at Padmakshi.
