Kibbutz Hybrid Seeds Llp is our seed business in Kota. We’re located at 187-A in the Gumanpura Shopping Centre. Ratan Lal is the one who keeps things running here. Being in a shopping center means we get a lot of foot traffic, and we’re easy for farmers to find when they come into town for supplies. We focus on hybrid seeds because they tend to do better with the weather and soil we have in Rajasthan. Kota can be a tough place to grow things, so having the right seeds is pretty important. We aren't a big corporate entity. Our shop is just a regular place where we stack bags of seeds and talk to customers. We don't have any fancy slogans or a slick sales team. Most of our customers come to us because they know us or someone told them about Ratan Lal. We’ve been through good years and bad years, just like the people we sell to. We try to keep things honest and tell people which seeds we think will actually work for them. It’s not about making a quick sale; it’s about making sure the farmer has a harvest at the end of the season. If they don't do well, we don't do well. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it’s the only way we know how. Just a local seed shop in Gumanpura doing what we can.
