Frig Care Center

Our shop is right at number 7 Aerodrome Circle, very close to the Godhe Wale Baba shrine. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic at the circle, you’ve probably seen us. It is a very busy spot with bikes and cars zooming past all day long. We spend our time fixing refrigerators and cooling systems that have broken down. There are always old fridge doors and compressors sitting around the shop floor. People usually come to us in a hurry because their food is spoiling and they need a quick fix. We do our best to look at things as they come in, though sometimes we get backed up when it’s really hot outside and everyone’s appliances start acting up at once. My shirt usually has a bit of grime on it from leaning into the back of machines all day. It’s a small shop, so it gets a bit crowded when we have three or four big units in for repair. We don't have a waiting room or anything like that. People just stand by the counter or wait outside in the shade. We’ve been at this circle for a good while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a loud place to work, but we like being in the middle of things where people can find us easily. We just focus on getting the cooling working again so people can go back home and get on with their lives without worrying about their groceries.
