Our shop is tucked away on the first floor of the Keshavpura Super Market, right on Mohan Takies Road. Being in H-21 means we’re up a flight of stairs, away from the main foot traffic of the market below, which helps when we need to focus on the printing. The machines are almost always running, so there’s a constant hum in the room. It gets a bit warm in here because of the equipment, but we usually have the fans going full blast. You’ll see stacks of cardboard and paper everywhere you look. Some days it feels like we’re drowning in packaging designs. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and then checking how the ink looks on the actual material. It’s rarely a quiet day. People come up from the market asking for quick prints or wanting to see how their boxes will look once they’re finished. We have a small table where we show samples, though it's usually cluttered with offcuts and coffee mugs. The light coming through the windows isn't great, so we have bright tubes overhead to see the colors properly. It’s a messy process, getting the printing right, and there's always a bit of a smell from the ink and the paper glue. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the Super Market crowd is something you just get used to. It's a busy, cramped space but it works for what we do.
