Our shop is located right in the middle of Dhanmandi. It is a very loud and busy place, especially in the early mornings when the big trucks start rolling in with all the supplies. Being an agro genetics company means we spend a lot of our time looking at seed samples and talking to the local folks who come through the market. This office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical room where we keep our ledgers and some chairs. You can hear the noise from the market stalls all day long, which actually keeps the energy up around here. Most people we deal with are just looking for something that will actually work on their land. There is usually a bit of dust in the air because of all the grain being moved around on the street outside. We have been in this same spot for a while now, so everyone in the area knows where we are. Sometimes the power goes out when it gets too hot, so we just sit on the steps for a bit until it comes back on. It is a very hands-on way to do business. There isn't a marketing team or anyone like that here. It is just us sitting around a wooden table discussing what needs to go out next. The floors are worn down from people walking in with boots, but that is fine with us. It feels right to be where the actual farming community gathers every single day.
