Virgoan Agro And Coldstorage Llp is based out in Koppal, specifically at Sy.No 200/3/4 in Hitnal. We set this up because around Bevinahalli, there was a real need for a place to keep things cold. Farmers around here grow a lot of produce, but if you don't have a place to store it, it all rots in the heat. It’s a big facility and keeping those machines running all the time takes a lot of attention. We are constantly checking the temperature and making sure the power doesn't go out. It’s a bit of a drive to get to us, but being out where the farms are is important. My boots are usually dusty from the yard, and there's always a truck coming or going. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just warehouses and cooling units. Some days are stressful when there’s a big harvest and everyone wants space at once. We try to be fair and fit what we can. The address is a bit long to write out, but locals know where the Hitnal post is. We are just a bunch of people trying to keep the food fresh so it actually reaches the market. It’s cold inside the units but usually boiling hot outside in Koppal, so we spend our days moving between the two. That is pretty much our daily routine here.
