Sarvonnati Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Girish Kulkarni’s place on Koppal Road in Muradi. It’s part of the Yelburga Taluk in the Koppal district. We set this up because the farmers around Muradi needed a way to work as one. Using Girish’s place as a base has made it easier for us to get together without needing a separate, expensive building. It’s a very local operation. When you come by, you’ll probably find a few of us sitting around discussing the latest news about crops or some new government rule. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like we are big business people. We are just farmers who realized that we are better off working together. Koppal Road can get quite dusty, and our office is just a simple room with some ledgers and a few chairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in. It is all very practical. We handle the paperwork, the distribution of supplies, and whatever else the members need. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is our life. We know the soil here and we know the people. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day. It’s about helping each other out in the village and making sure everyone gets a fair shake. We don't worry about being fancy.
