Krishi Anusandhan Avam Gyan Prabandhan Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Alivara. Our place is right near the Khel Bhawan Udyan, which is the local playground area. The post office in Musra is where we get our mail. The name of the company is a bit of a mouthful, but it basically means we focus on learning and managing agricultural knowledge. We aren't scientists in white coats, though. We are just local people trying to figure out better ways to farm this land. The office is close to the park, so you can often hear kids playing while we are trying to work. It’s a nice environment. We spend time looking at different seeds and seeing what grows best in our soil. Farmers from the surrounding villages come by to share what they’ve learned or to ask about new techniques. It’s a bit of a community hub in that way. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just some basic tools and a lot of shared experience. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we’d rather be out in the fields or talking to the members. Alivara is a small place, so news travels fast. If someone finds a way to stop a pest or improve a yield, we try to make sure everyone else knows about it too. It’s just about helping each other out in the village. This project has brought a lot of us together in a good way.
