We are located at No.10, West Panikondanviduthy which is in the Thiruvonam area. Rajaji Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name on our door. Thiruvonam is where we do all our work and it is a typical farming community. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters. It is just a simple office at No.10 on the street. Being a farmer producer company means we spend most of our time talking to the local people who grow the crops. It is a quiet life for the most part. We handle the paperwork and try to coordinate things for the farmers around West Panikondanviduthy. It is not a glamorous way to spend the day. There is a lot of conversation and waiting for the seasons to change. We see the same familiar faces every day we open the door. Everyone knows everyone else in this part of Thiruvonam. We are just trying to do something that helps the people around here. The office is very basic. We have a couple of chairs and a wooden table where we sort through the daily tasks. It gets quite hot in the afternoons so we try to do the heavy lifting early in the morning. You won’t find any polished marketing talk here. We just speak plainly about the crops and the local prices. It is a real place with real people just trying to get by. It is home for us.
