Svpks Plantations Private Limited

Svpks Plantations is based out of Amrita Vihar in Kulasekharapuram. We are close to Clappana and Karunagapally. It’s a pretty area, and the plantation keeps us very busy. We have a variety of trees and crops on the land. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a local farm. We spend a lot of time walking the rows and checking on the growth. The office at Amrita Vihar is usually cluttered with tools and papers. We aren't the type to wear ties or have formal meetings. Most of our decisions are made while standing out in the sun. We’ve been here for a bit now. The weather in Karunagapally can be unpredictable, but we do our best. Sometimes the monsoon is a bit much and we have to work around the flooding. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the land as well as we do. It’s a quiet place, away from the main road. We don't do much advertising. People know where we are. We just focus on keeping the plantation healthy. It’s a lot of physical labor, but seeing the trees thrive makes it worth it. We’re just here in Clappana, doing what needs to be done every day to keep the place going. It’s a long-term job and we take it one season at a time. Every day is a bit different out here.
