Our place is down in Mundakkal, and if you're looking for us, we usually just tell people to look for P. B. No. 13. Being the Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd. (the) means we deal with a lot of nuts. It's a lot of manual work and coordination. The office in Mundakkal is where the administrative stuff happens. It's not a flashy building. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and people who have been working here for years. Cashews are a big part of what happens in this part of the state. We spend our days looking over reports and making sure the operations are moving along. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes. The weather gets hot, and the fans in the office just sort of move the warm air around. We aren't trying to be some big tech company. We just handle cashews. There's a certain rhythm to it. The morning starts with coffee and then we dive into whatever needs doing. Some people might find it boring, but it's honest work. Mundakkal is a decent place to be based. We've been here a long time, and we know the rhythms of the seasons. We don't put on airs or use big words. We just run the corporation as best as we can from our little corner of the world. The road outside Mundakkal is usually quiet in the evenings and we just lock up and head home.
