Elairich Spices Private Limited

Our business, Elairich Spices Private Limited, is located at 15/348 in Parappallilanavilasam P.O. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the name of the place, but it’s where we’ve always been. The office and the storage area are all in the same building. We deal mostly with cardamom, as you might guess from our name. The hills around here are full of it. Every morning we open up the shutters and start the day’s work. There is always a lot of sorting to do. We check the size and the color of the pods one by one. It’s tedious work but it’s the only way to be sure of what we have. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us who have lived in this area our whole lives. We know the growers and we know the land. The building we are in is simple and functional. We don't need much else. When the harvest is in, the whole place is packed with bags from floor to ceiling. You can barely walk through the aisles then. We don't do much advertising. People know us because we’ve been here at 15/348 for a long time. We just try to be honest about what we are selling. If the crop was bad because of too much rain, we tell people. We just take things one day at a time here in the village.
