We are a group of farmers who decided to get together to make things a bit easier for everyone involved. Usually, someone is at the office in S.R House if you need to drop by. We deal with all sorts of produce that comes from the local fields around Kollam. It’s a collective effort, so there are always different voices and opinions on how to handle things. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic during harvest time, but we manage to get the work done. The building isn't too hard to spot once you get into Kadakkal. We aren't trying to be some big corporation, just a local group trying to handle our own crops and sales. There's plenty of paperwork to file and meetings to have about the seasonal prices. Most of us grew up around here so we know the land pretty well. If the gate is open, someone is likely inside working on the books or talking to a member. We just try to keep things moving forward for the families involved. It’s plain and simple work, really. Not much more to it than that. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the farmers get what they need from the company. It can be a struggle when the rain doesn't come but we help each other through it and wait for better weather.
