In Ranchi, you’ll find us at Flat No 203 in Anand Bhawan, which is located in the Bariatu area. It’s a decent-sized flat that we turned into our office for the security business. We’ve got different rooms for storing the cameras and the monitors, and the living area is where we have our main desks. It still feels a bit like an apartment, which makes it feel less like a cold corporate office. We have a balcony that looks out over the street, though we mostly use it to store empty cardboard boxes before they get hauled away. The kitchen area is where we keep the kettle for making coffee throughout the day. We spend a lot of our time looking at blueprints or technical specs for different buildings in Jharkhand. It’s not always organized perfectly; there are often wires running across the floor when we are testing out a new setup. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer the door. The building itself, Anand Bhawan, is pretty well known in this part of Bariatu, so people don't have too much trouble finding us. We keep things pretty low-key and just focus on getting the security systems to work right. It can get quite hot in the summers, so the ceiling fans are always clicking away above our heads while we work through the afternoon. The traffic noise from the road downstairs is constant but we just ignore it.
