Our office is located right on Diamond Harbour Road at 337/2/A in the Behala area of Kolkata. Being on such a busy road means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. We spend most of our day here coordinating the guard schedules and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It is not exactly glamorous work, but it keeps the city running. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. When it rains heavily in Kolkata, the street gets a bit messy, but we still show up and do what needs to be done. We aren't a giant corporate headquarters with glass walls. We are just a local team in a practical space. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask about security for their small shops or to see if we have any job openings. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls, and the tea stall down the street is our favorite spot for a quick afternoon break. The traffic on Diamond Harbour Road never really stops, so there is always a background hum of engines while we work. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to look a bit worn out. We have been in this spot for a long time now, and we know the rhythms of the area well. It is just a regular office doing its part.
