Zenpro Properties Llp has an office on the ground floor of 1 Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being right on the street level means we see everybody who walks past. MG Road is one of those places that stays busy from morning until late at night. We have a simple setup here with a couple of desks, some chairs, and many cabinets for the property deeds and maps we keep on hand. We have been at this spot for a while and it is easy for people to just step inside without dealing with stairs or elevators. The office is a bit old-fashioned and we do not have any modern decorations or glass walls. It is just a place where we do our work and drink a lot of tea. We spend a lot of time checking local property listings and making sure the details are actually correct. We keep a few extra chairs for when people want to sit and talk for a while. It gets hot in the afternoons but the ground floor stays relatively cool compared to the upper levels. Real estate in this area requires a lot of patience because things do not always move as fast as you want them to. We spend a lot of time waiting for different offices to get back to us. While we wait, we organize our files or go out for a snack. It is just a steady, local routine.
