Wowhome Realtors Private Limited is situated on the 5th floor of Karnani Estate, which is right on the busy AJC Bose Road. We have rooms 192 and 209, so we are often walking back and forth between them throughout the day. If you know AJC Bose Road, you know it is always loud with cars and buses, so we keep the windows shut most of the time to get some peace. The office is very basic with old desks and a water cooler that makes a strange gurgling noise every hour. We have been here for some time now and we are used to the way the building works. The lift is often full in the mornings, so we have learned to come in a bit early or just wait it out. It is just part of being in an old estate building like this. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. It is just us sitting among stacks of folders and maps. We spend a lot of time on the phone or trying to find a place to park our scooters when we get back from a site visit. It is not a high-speed corporate life. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about normal things like the weather or the traffic. We just handle the property paperwork and make sure everything is legal. It is practical work and it keeps us occupied.
