Woodlands Hospital

The hospital is at No. 8/5 Alipore Road. It’s a well-known address in a part of the city that has a lot of history and old trees. Alipore is quiet. We’ve been here for many years, and the building has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over that time. It’s a large facility where we handle a wide variety of medical cases every single day. From the front desk to the wards, there is always someone moving around or something that needs tending to. The hallways are long and can be a bit confusing if you’re here for the first time, but we have signs up to help out. We have a lot of different departments all under this one roof, so it stays pretty busy from dawn until late at night. The staff is used to the rhythm of the place, even when things get a bit hectic in the emergency area or during visiting hours. We don’t have any fancy mission statements posted on the walls; we just focus on the patients who are currently in our care. The gardens outside provide a bit of a break from the clinical feel of the indoors. It’s an old institution that just keeps going, providing a necessary service for the people who live in and around Alipore. We just do our best to keep everything running and clean for everyone.
