We are based over at 20A, Kundu Lane in Bhowanipur. It’s one of those narrow streets in Kolkata where you have to be careful when two cars try to pass each other. Win Medicare has been operating out of this building for some time. Inside, there are boxes of medical supplies stacked up and people typing away on old keyboards. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see, but it works for us. We handle a lot of different medicines and healthcare products that go out to pharmacies all over West Bengal. The humidity in Bhowanipur can be quite something in July, so we all stay pretty close to the coolers. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in traffic near the main crossing, which makes for a long afternoon of waiting. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at the front desk checking invoices or talking on the phone with a supplier. It’s a lot of routine stuff, checking batch numbers and making sure the labels are right. We’ve lived in this city a long time and we know how the local market moves. It’s just a regular business trying to stay organized in a busy part of town. We keep the tea kettle going in the back room for anyone who needs a break. That's about it for who we are.
