Wockhardt Hospital & Kidney Institute

Down in Jelia Para, right near the Khardah post office, you will find where we work. It is a busy place, mostly because people are always coming and going for their health needs. The building is located in Kolkata 700117, and it is pretty well known in this part of West Bengal. It isn't like those huge, silent hospitals you see in movies. Here, it is always a bit loud with voices and the sound of machines. We spend a lot of time walking up and down the hallways. The air usually smells like cleaning supplies and hospital food. It is a lot of work, and the shifts can be very long, especially when there are a lot of patients to look after. We don't have any fancy lounges for the staff. We just grab a quick tea when we can and get back to it. Khardah is a busy area, and being in Jelia Para means we see a lot of local families. It is an honest kind of work, even if it is tiring most days. We don't really think about things in a corporate way. We just see the person in front of us who needs help and try to get them sorted out. It is a practical place where real things happen every hour of the day. The walls have some scuffs and the chairs are a bit worn, but the work gets done.
