Despite the name mentioning New Delhi, we are actually located at Anandabhavan on Dipen Samaddar Sarani in Agarpara. It is in the North Tarapukur area, part of the 24 Parganas district. This place has been around for quite some time. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the sun is just coming up and the locals start moving about. We are not a massive glass building like the ones you see in the movies. It is more of a practical place where people come when they are not feeling well. There are always people coming and going through the doors. The staff here mostly live in the surrounding neighborhoods, so we see a lot of familiar faces. The hallways are narrow and the paint might be peeling in a few spots, but we keep everything as clean as we can. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of everyone and making sure the doctors have what they need. We don’t have fancy marketing teams or big posters everywhere. We just focus on the people who walk in looking for help. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and loud, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. We try to keep things organized despite the chaos of a busy day. It’s a local place for local people, and we are just here to do our part in the community every single day.
