You can find us at 49/28 Ranjoy Apartment on Sahid Mangal Pandey Sarani in Barrackpore. It’s an apartment building, so it’s not what most people imagine when they think of a hospital, but this is where we handle our part of the work. We’ve been in this corner of Kolkata for a good while. The street outside can be quite lively, but inside we try to keep things calm and orderly so we can get through our tasks. Most of the staff here have been with the organization for years. We aren't really into big marketing or polished presentations. We just have our desks, our files, and a telephone that rings quite a bit. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and how they take their tea. We deal with a lot of patient records and coordination, which requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes the weather gets really humid and the old ceiling fans struggle to keep up, but we manage. We just focus on being helpful and making sure the information we handle is accurate. There’s no need for fancy language here. We just show up every morning, do what needs to be done for the people who depend on us, and go home. It’s a simple, honest way to work and it keeps us connected to the Barrackpore community. We like being tucked away in the Ranjoy Apartment.
