Woodland Hospital

Down on Alipur Road, not too far from the Command Hospital, you will find Woodland Hospital. It’s a green part of town, so at least we have some trees to look at. The building is at 8/5, and it’s been standing there for quite a while. We get a lot of people who get lost trying to find the entrance because the signs are a bit faded. Inside, it’s mostly just white walls and the sound of people talking. Our staff stays busy. There is always someone needing a bandage or a signature on a form. The night shift is the quietest, but even then, you hear the hum of the machines. We have a few benches outside where people sit when they need some air. It’s not a polished place. The tiles in the bathroom are a bit chipped, and the front desk is cluttered with pens that barely work. But it’s where we work every day. We see people at their worst and sometimes their best. The doctors are regular people who forget their umbrellas and complain about the traffic on Alipur Road. We don’t have a big corporate office here; it’s just the wards and the offices and the smell of medicine. People come from all over this part of Alipurn. We just try to keep things organized, even when it feels like everything is happening at once. It’s just a normal hospital doing normal things without any of the extra fluff.
