Wockhardt Hospital & Kidney Institute

Being at 111 A Rashbehari Ave on the corner of Sarat Bose Road makes us a very central part of the community here. This location is known as the Wockhardt Hospital & Kidney Institute, so we deal with a lot of specific health issues related to that. The traffic on Rashbehari Avenue is usually pretty loud, and that noise filters in sometimes, but we are all used to it by now. The building is older and has its own quirks, like the way the lights might flicker occasionally or how the stairs feel a bit narrow when two people are trying to pass. We don't try to hide that it’s an older place; it’s part of the character of this neighborhood. The staff is quite focused because of the kind of work we do here with kidney patients. It can be heavy work, but we just get on with it. There’s no polished marketing talk here, just nurses checking charts and doctors talking to families in the hallways. We have a lot of people coming in from all over the city because of where we are located. The reception area is often crowded, and you’ll see plenty of people sitting around with their bags and papers. It’s a very practical, very busy environment where we just try to help folks get through their treatments.
