WEILAI MACHINERY LLP is situated on the ground floor at 14A, Sarat Ghosh Garden Road in Dhakuria. Being on the ground floor is really helpful for us because we deal with heavy machinery. It would be a nightmare to move this stuff upstairs. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, which happens a lot in Kolkata. We have a workshop area where we keep all the parts and tools. It’s not a very pretty place, just a practical one with concrete floors and plenty of light. We spend most of our time tinkering with machines or talking to people about how they work. We’ve been in Dhakuria for a while now, and we know the local shops well. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us in overalls working on something. It’s a small operation. We started this because we like fixing things and seeing how they are put together. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we just deal with it. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just show people the machines and explain what they do in simple terms. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs oiling or adjusting. We like the ground floor spot because we can leave the big doors open for some air while we work. It’s just us doing our thing.
