We are tucked away in Baguiati, specifically at Ld 41/1 in Sarada Pally. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Aswini Nagar, but we like it because it’s quiet compared to the main road. The office is really just a converted part of the ground floor. We’ve got a couple of computers that have been running for years and a big heavy desk where all the signing happens. My cousin helps out with the paperwork, and we have a few other people who come in to handle the packing. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and making sure the labels are on straight. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day, mostly from the shop at the corner. Sometimes we get stuck waiting for deliveries that are late because of the narrow streets around here. It can be frustrating, but we’ve learned to be patient. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people find us because they already know where we are. It’s a small operation, and we don’t have much in the way of fancy technology. We mostly rely on the phone and a lot of handwritten notes. It’s not the most modern way to do things, but it’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work well enough for everyone involved here. We just try to keep our heads down and get the shipments out.
