Kolkata Rakhi

Kolkata Rakhi is located right at 10 B B D Bag. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty hectic around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a place filled with history, and we just fit into a small corner of it. Most of our days are spent dealing with the physical stock and making sure things are where they should be. It’s a hands-on kind of environment. We don’t have a website that’s updated every minute or anything like that. We mostly just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of paper and dust. We like it that way. It feels real. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us working here. We handle the rakhis and make sure they get out to where they need to go. It’s seasonal work in many ways, but there is always something to do. We don’t have a lot of space, so things are stacked pretty high. You have to be careful walking between the boxes. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been in B B D Bag so long that it feels like home to us. It is a bit cramped, but we are used to the small space.
