Zainab Traders

Zainab Traders is located at 22 F Lock Gate Road. It’s a bit of an old industrial stretch of road. The lock gate itself is nearby, and you see a lot of heavy vehicles passing by to move goods. Our place is a simple trading office and storage spot. We have a heavy iron door that we roll up every morning. Inside, it’s mostly boxes and ledgers. We don't have fancy computers or a sleek lobby. Just some wooden desks, a few chairs, and a lot of stock piled up to the ceiling. The walls have some stains from the old rainy seasons, but the roof doesn't leak anymore. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are dropping things off. It can get pretty dusty with the wind blowing off the road, so we are always wiping down the desks. There’s a small sink in the back where we wash up. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here; we just buy and sell what people need. Sometimes the traffic on Lock Gate Road gets so backed up that we just sit outside on the steps and watch the world go by. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We’ve been at 22 F for a long time and the neighbors know us well. It’s just a regular trading business.
