It’s just a desk, some old ledgers, and a lot of stock. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there’s a lot of shouting and carrying of loads throughout the day. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Muktaram Babu Street is. We like being in the heart of the city like this. It’s convenient for getting things moved around. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. Most people just know we are here at 193-B. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the trading goes smoothly and the customers are satisfied with what they get. It’s hard work, but it’s a living. We’ve seen the street change over the years, but we’re still here, doing the same things we've always done.
