Saif Tools And Belting Co. is located at 33/1 N.S. Road. We are in the Marshall House building, which is a pretty well-known spot in this area. Our room is 98/110 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is a blessing because we deal with a lot of heavy items. N.S. Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic and people, but that’s just life in this part of the city. Marshall House is an old building with high ceilings and thick walls. Our room is filled with shelves from floor to ceiling. We have all kinds of tools and belting supplies. It’s a bit of a maze inside. There’s a certain smell of oil and new rubber that hits you when you walk in. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place hasn't changed much. We have an old desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s not a digital-first office. We still like to do things the old-fashioned way. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we know exactly where every item is located. We don’t have a marketing team to tell people how great we are. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know we are reliable. Most days involve helping customers find exactly what they need for their machines. It’s busy work, but it’s good work. We close up at the end of the day and head home like everyone else.
