HINDUSTHAN TRADING COMPANY

We are located at Plot No. F-16 inside the Bagree Market at 71 Canning Street. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how incredibly crowded and loud it gets. It is a maze of shops and stalls, and we are tucked right in the middle of it. We do trading here at Hindusthan Trading Company. Our space is filled to the ceiling with various goods and boxes. There isn't much room to walk around once the new stock arrives, so we are always shifting things from one corner to another. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing business. We don't have a website or a social media page. We just have our spot in the market and a lot of people who have been buying from us for decades. The fans hum overhead but they don't do much against the humidity. We spend our time talking to dealers, writing out manual receipts, and drinking small cups of chai. It’s a hectic environment with people shouting and carts pushing past the door, but we wouldn’t know what to do with a quiet office. It’s just how things are on Canning Street. We keep the items people want and we try to give them a fair price without any of that modern marketing talk. It’s just simple trading, the same way it’s been done for years. We open the shop, handle the customers, and hope for a good day's work.
