We are located on Lenin Sarani. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. We've been here at 156 for some time. It's an old building, but it works for us. Velvet Realtors isn't a huge name you'd see on billboards. We are just a small group of people working out of this office. The stairs are a bit steep. Most of our day is spent talking to people about flats and land. Kolkata has so many narrow lanes, and we spend a lot of time navigating them. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get to site visits, but we manage. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. It’s usually just one of us sitting at the front desk. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day. People come in with questions about buying or selling, and we tell them what we know. There isn't any secret formula. We just know the local neighborhoods well. The walls in the office could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Work keeps us moving. We focus on the central parts of the city mostly. It’s noisy outside with the buses and trams, but you get used to it. We just do our bit every day. Nothing more to say really. We are just here doing real estate work in the heart of the city. We usually close up around seven in the evening and head home.
