You can find us at Shop Number B-216 inside City Centre 2. Being inside a big mall like this is different from having a shop on a regular street. We have to follow the mall timings and everything is very structured. Most of our days are spent under the bright mall lights. It’s nice because the air conditioning works well, which is a relief during the hot Kolkata summers. We see a lot of families and teenagers walking around the corridors. Many people stop by after they’ve spent a few hours shopping or after seeing a movie at the cinema here. The shop itself is tucked away in the B-block. We spend a lot of our time making sure the shelves are stocked and the towels are clean. It can get very quiet during the weekday afternoons, but the weekends are a different story entirely. The whole mall gets packed and we are on our feet most of the day. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name Vegas Spa and Salon on the glass. We talk to the other shop owners nearby when we get a break. It feels like a small community inside a big building. We just focus on getting through the appointments and making sure the place looks decent for whoever walks in. It’s a practical setup and we’ve been in this specific unit for quite some time now. We just try to keep things running smoothly every single day we are open here.
