Beauty Nayak

My place is over at 56 D C Dey Road in the Tangra area. Most people know it because it’s quite close to Bhutnath Girls High School. If you’re walking from the school side, it’s just a short distance down the road. Tangra is an interesting part of Kolkata, very busy and full of energy. As Beauty Nayak, I work from this spot and it’s a very local, neighborhood-focused setup. The street can be quite cramped with trucks and vans sometimes because of the local industries around here, but my little corner stays relatively organized. It’s a simple ground-floor space. I don’t have a big team or anything; it’s mostly just me handling things. People from the neighborhood stop by, often because they saw the sign or heard about me from someone at the high school. It’s a very practical kind of place. There’s no reception area with fancy magazines. Usually, there’s just a couple of chairs if someone has to wait a few minutes. I’ve lived in this city all my life and working in Tangra feels right because it’s so grounded. Everything I need is right here. 700015 is a big area but this specific patch near the school feels like a small village sometimes where everyone has a story to tell. It’s just a regular work day for me, nothing more. I just open up every morning and wait for whoever needs me that day. It is a quiet life.
