It’s a busy house. We have mirrors all over the place and chairs that spin around. The training center side usually has some young people practicing how to cut hair or apply makeup on mannequins. It gets a bit noisy with the hair dryers going and everyone talking at once. Sinthee is a crowded area, so there’s always something happening outside on the street. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the neighbors know us well. We don’t have a big corporate office feel. It’s more like a local shop where people come to chat as much as they do to get their hair done. The floors are usually covered in some hair clippings by mid-afternoon until we sweep them up. We keep all the supplies in big cupboards that sometimes jam when you try to open them too fast. It’s a lot of work keeping both the clinic and the school running at the same time. We usually have tea in the back room during the short breaks we get. It's a plain, hardworking environment where people come to learn a trade or get ready for a local wedding.
