If you find yourself over at Kajaria Market on Amartolla Street, you'll find us tucked away in Room 116. Vandana has been operating out of this small space for quite some time now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't used to the layout of the market, but we like it here. The building at 28 Amartolla Street stays pretty noisy with all the other shops around, but that’s just how market life is. We spend most of our hours inside this room handling whatever comes through the door. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of items coming in at once, and we often have to stack things up high just to make some walking space. We don’t have any big fancy signs or a huge lobby, just a desk and some space for our work. Most of the people who come by are regulars who know exactly where Room 116 is and don't need a map. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they arrive. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking items, making sure everything is in order before the day ends. Sometimes the hallways are crowded with porters, and it takes a minute to get through, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of Kajaria Market over the years. We aren't a big corporation, just a small operation doing our thing in a corner of the city. We appreciate the routine and the familiar faces.
