Madonna

Madonna is our little shop located at 7-E, Lindsay Street. We are right behind the Globe Cinema, which most people use as a landmark to find us. Lindsay Street is always full of energy and people walking around looking for things. We have been here for quite some time now. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it organized with the things people like to buy. Being behind the cinema means we get a lot of people passing by after they watch a movie. We see all kinds of people coming through the door. Some just want to look and others are looking for something very specific. We don't have any fancy sales tactics. We just stand behind the counter and help if someone asks. The building is older and has its own quirks, like the lights that flicker sometimes. We’ve grown fond of the place over the years. It’s a busy spot but we like the pace. Most of the time, we are just busy restocking the shelves or cleaning the glass. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don't worry about being the biggest shop on the street. We just want to be here every morning when the shutters go up. It’s a good community and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like home to us after all these years.
