Our office is up on the third floor of P-4 Black Burn Lane. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Values Spaces Realtors Private Limited is a small outfit. We focus on properties around the central part of the city. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Most of our day is spent on the phone or meeting people at tea shops to discuss property details. We do not really do the whole corporate image thing. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and old files. It is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Finding a good space in Kolkata is getting harder, so we spend a lot of time scouting out hidden gems that aren't on the big websites yet. We deal with both buyers and sellers, and it can be a lot of back and forth. Sometimes a deal takes months just because of a missing paper from twenty years ago. We try to stay patient. It is a lot of grunt work, checking titles and making sure the plumbing actually works before we show a place. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to help people find a decent roof over their heads or a place to start a shop. We have been at this long enough to know the pitfalls. Our office is just a place to get work done, nothing fancy.
