We are located at 54/7C on Devendra Chandra Dey Road. It’s an area that’s more about industry and transport than anything else. The building we are in is sturdy and simple, which is exactly what we need for an export business. There’s a lot of space for us to move around and handle the goods we are sending out. We don't have any fancy carpets or expensive art on the walls. Most of the room is taken up by large wooden tables and stacks of boxes waiting to be taped up. We have a couple of desks where the computers and phones are, but we aren't sitting down all that much. The road outside can be quite loud with the sound of trucks heading toward the main thoroughfares. We’ve been here for several years and have a good relationship with the other businesses on the street. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We start early and usually finish late, especially when we have a big shipment going out. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the activity nearby, so we’re always cleaning off the desks. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role. We don't need a lot of instructions or meetings. We just see what needs to be done and we do it. It’s a straightforward way to work. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
