Our office for Urban Utopias Realtors LLP is at 49 Madan Mohan Burman Street. It’s right in the heart of Kolkata. This part of town is always buzzing with people and traffic. The building is one of those classic ones you see around here. Inside, we have our setup with desks and some old cupboards for all the property files. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the paperwork we have to keep track of. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to find us. Working in real estate in this neighborhood means you have to know the streets well. We talk to all kinds of people every day. Some days are slow and we just sit around the fan, while other days we are running around until dark. We aren't polished corporate types. We just wear regular clothes and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street. It’s a noisy area, but you get used to the sound of horns and shouting. We just focus on the property details and getting things filed properly. It’s a simple business. We aren't trying to change the world, just helping people with their real estate needs in our corner of the city. We keep a few spare chairs for visitors and the desks are usually messy.
