Unitech

Unitech is based on Diamond Harbour Road, inside Ideal Towers on the first floor of Block A. Being on a main road like this means we see a lot of traffic and activity, but being on the first floor gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise. The office isn't very large, just enough room for our small team and the equipment we use for our work. We focus on technical tasks and engineering stuff, so there are usually blueprints or spec sheets spread out on the tables. It’s a pretty quiet environment compared to the shops on the ground floor. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through data on our screens. There is no receptionist at the front, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just goes and opens it. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee, which keeps us going through the long afternoons. Ideal Towers is a decent building, and we have been in this block for a while now. We don't do much in the way of promotion; most of our work comes from word of mouth or long-term contacts we have built up. It is a steady, professional setup where we just try to do our jobs correctly and keep things moving without any unnecessary drama or complications.
