Umang Exports

Umang Exports is tucked away on the first floor of 77, N.S. Road. You have to go up the stairs and find Suit No. 111. It’s a bit of a maze in this building. There are lots of other small businesses around us, so the hallway is always full of people carrying boxes or talking. Our office is small. We have just enough room for the computers and a few shelves for the records. The window looks out over N.S. Road, so we see all the chaos below. It’s quite loud during the day with all the horns honking. We mostly ignore it now. We’ve been in this suit for quite some time. The floor is tiled and a bit worn down from people walking back and forth. We drink a lot of coffee while we track shipments. There isn't any fancy decor on the walls. Just a calendar and maybe a stray note taped to the door. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office. We just need a place to sit and handle the export side of things. It can get stressful when a deadline is close, but we manage. Everyone knows their job. We close up around six and join the crowd on the street. It’s a busy life here, but it works for us. N.S. Road is always alive with something happening, and being on the first floor gives us a front-row seat to all of it. Sometimes we just stare out the window for a minute when the phones stop.
