I Fresh Export

Our spot is at No. 107/108 Ultadanga Main Road. It’s a bit of a specific location, B/f- 10/ 39. The main road is always buzzing with people and rickshaws. We deal with exports, mainly fresh stuff, so we are always checking the clock. Everything has to move fast before it loses its freshness. The warehouse area is where most of the action happens. It can get pretty loud when the crates are being moved around. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just charts and schedules. The floor is concrete and we have to wash it down pretty often. We are a small crew. We know each other’s families and we help out when someone needs a hand. The traffic on Ultadanga Main Road can be a headache when the trucks are trying to pull in. We just deal with it. It’s not a fancy place to work, but we like being right in the middle of the action. Most of our days are spent checking the produce and making sure the labels are on straight. We don’t use a lot of big words or have meetings that last forever. We just get the fresh goods packed and sent out as quick as we can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. There isn't much time for sitting around doing nothing here.
